The yurts in South Beach State Park can easily sleep up to 5 people and dogs are allowed. They come heated for the cooler months and on each site is a patio, picnic tables, and fire pit for outdoor cooking. Located close enough to the beach you can relax to the sound of ocean waves without a worry in the world. The campground is clean and provides public bathrooms and showers for their campers.

    If you're staying in a yurt (two are pet friendly) over New Year's Eve, be sure to join the South Beach First Day Hike on Jan. 1, 2015 at 9 a.m. Discover how the jetty formed the beach, learn about native plants, and enjoy scenic views of historic lighthouses and the Yaquina Bay Bridge. Pets on a leash can join the hike, too!
