It's what they call a "gravitational anomaly" in the forest, where everything leans and we can actually defy gravity! what are your 4th of july traditions? last year lisa and i spent ours watching fireworks explode over the water while we sat on our surfboards. it was insane. such a rush being out in the dark water with the dark sky, waiting for fireworks to crack and fill the sky with flashes of light and sparkly explosions. makes my heart tingle. wishing you a most magical 4th of july this summer.

Feel like blacking out and throwing up? Okay, just kidding (maybe). But really, Six Flags played a number on my body! After about 10 roller coasters straight I thought I was going to die. My husband Chase and I went on 13 rides in a row within a four hour period. I was so proud of myself for surviving---such a feat! Six Flags is such a fun place and makes for a great summer date. Just keep in mind that with gnarly rides comes it's lovely friend motion sickness. See how much you can handle by checking out a Six Flags near you. Summer is the perfect time to go and give you an excuse to eat funnel cake :)!

Happy Mother's Day, lovely readers! We hope all of you out there, whether you're a mother or just have mother's to love in your life, are enjoying your day to its fullest. Because YOU DESERVE IT.
Here's a little video I made of Meggie and her Van bug last Fall. Since she's the only mother of the three of us, I think it's special to do what I can to capture those moments that are so fleeting in a woman's lifelong journey of motherhood. Cherish your mothers.

We stumbled upon this project on Indiegogo and had to tell you about it! It is just too good!
It's called the Tigerlight Peacekeeper Mini. The Peacekeeper Mini is a self-defense device that combines a flashlight and pepper spray. It even has BlueTooth and GPS technology, you know what that means? If someone decides to jump you in a creepy alley or something bad happens while you're traveling, this thing will alert your phone and other's you have selected to receive the alert to send for help immediately! I don't know how they came up with this thing, but it's going to be a life saver.
We would love to see this project get funded and they need your support to help bring this new product to the market! Just think of the difference we can make. Remember, SAFETY FIRST!

We rode some horses and had a jolly good time. I always take horse excursions when traveling, for some reason or another (I used to be a horse freak, remember?) Cost about $20 for two people to ride for about half an hour, but be sure to negotiate because I know you can get a better price than that :) *All filmed on iPhone 4S

We are so blessed to be triplets and have each other to share life with. The bond of an identical triplet/twin/whatever multiple you are is unbeatable. This video is about twin sisters who were separated at birth, raised on different continents, and connected as adults through social media. Even when the odds weren't in their favor, they found each other.
