ANSWERING OUR READER'S QUESTIONS

hey guys!

we have been meaning to answer some of our readers questions for a while now, so thank you for your patience.

1) where we shop.
our favorites include forever 21, pacsun and ross. we always find good deals on name brands and cute stuff! if we were rich, we'd shop more at urban outfitters, free people and anthropologie. and if you were wondering where we got that cute yoko ono and john lennon cropped tee from our triplet video,  h&m is the place. which reminds me, i hear they are opening one in utah this fall. yay! the turquoise and gray baseball tee also in the video is from forever 21. see, we really do read your comments!

2) trick to being thin.
well, we have a major sweet tooth so i wouldn't say we're the best examples. we are naturally petite, but we also live a healthy active lifestyle whether we are skiing in the winter or surfing in the summer. we work out at the gym and enjoy a good run or yoga class. and i recently learned from my mother, eat as much protein as you do carbs! the weight will fall right off if you're exercising as well. yah!

3) how to get into photography.
as you can see, we love to take photos! kylie is quite the expert of us three. i (megan) am a bit more on the crafty side and lissy likes to cook healthy foods and bake yummy desserts! we started out by buying a dslr and a standard lens until we figured out the basics and upgraded to better cameras and lenses. currently kylie uses a canon 7d and 5d with a wide angle, 17-40 l, and 50 mm lens. i (megan) use a canon 60d and 50 mm lens. seek inspiration from those around you or nature itself and invest in a nice camera. and remember, practice! just because you have a nice camera doesn't mean you're a photographer.

4)  how on earth do we afford all this traveling.
we plan and we budget. we seek organizations or our own adventures. everybody has different situations that allow you to do certain things in life; whether that involves jobs, children, pets, health, finances, or whatever else. but, we believe it is important to live your life. we thought we could help by sharing with you our monthly budget template. if you would like a copy please leave a comment on this post with your email address and allow us one week to gather emails and send a copy out to you. the budget is an excel template to organize your spending as well as set important financial goals and set aside money for savings and eventually pay off debt. create a savings account or automatic savings plan for emergencies and goals, that will be a great start! if you have more questions see our post on budgeting here.
